Time Space Existence Venedig

For 25 years, Bernhard Winking and Martin Froh have been working on the entire spectrum of architectural and urban planning tasks in Germany, Europe and China. With their award-winning redevelopment of Spiegel Island and the addition to the Esplanade in Hamburg, Winking · Froh show in exemplary fashion how ensembles of post-war modernism can be preserved in keeping with the requirements of a listed building and further developed in keeping with the times. Their characteristic residential buildings, which they have realised in Berlin, Bremen and Hamburg, among other places, blend into the surroundings of the site and use sustainable and durable materials. Sparingly used sculptural design elements go hand in hand with attractive floor plans. Another focus of their work is large-scale urban projects. The exhibition TIME SPACE EXISTENCE features ten of Stefan Müller's photographs, most of which were taken especially for the exhibition and a work mongraphy entitled "Essenz - Essence", which will be published by Birkhäuser Verlag in August. The exhibition can be seen until 21 November on the first floor, room C 14, in the Palazzo Bembo. The palazzo on the Riva del Carbon is within walking distance of the Rialto Bridge on the Grand Canal. Fotos: Stefan Müller and Clelia Cadamuro
